032 - Foraging / yoga / jogging / Hiking / Waterfall hunt
Another week packed full of activities and useful tips for things to do with the kids. Your daily The Daily Kids newsletter is here to inspire you every day. Sometimes, we know the motivation can get up and go, and finding things to do with the kids can be difficult, but we've got you covered. Last week we had seven days of sensory, but now that we are well into March, we thought we'd do a week of outdoor activities. Let's get started.
  1. Go foraging with the kids. This is a great way to teach them about plants, and they can cook with you when they get home—sustainability: a walk and a cooking lesson. We love foraging, and you're just in time for wild garlic season.

  2. Outdoor yoga first thing in the morning is an excellent way to start the day for adults and kids alike.

  3. Teach your kids to jog, yes, really. You can do this. There are even apps to help you do this.

  4. Take a hike. This time of year is excellent for hiking, it's not freezing cold, but it's not warm enough that you'll encounter too many insects. Hiking is a great way to get kids interested in nature.

  5. Hunt for waterfalls, This time of year is ideal for chasing waterfalls. The snows have melted, and the plunges will be more dramatic than in the summer.

Don't forget to sign up and subscribe to our newsletter for your five daily tips.
